The AP had reported Oct. 31 that she had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from Kenya, which has been fractured by violence in recent years, including some two months of bloodshed that killed 1,500 people after December 2007.
What law was broken?
Isn’t this the same thing they did to Joe the Plumber? They dug up all kinds of stuff on him – even dug into his tax status and found out if he had a license or not.
If Obama’s aunt sues the media, do you think Joe the Plumber should sue the media as well?

There are laws on the books that make it a crime if such information is leaked. Obama’s Aunt can sue the government and personally sue the person that leaked it.

That’s why the The Department of Homeland Security is investigating this leak. Someone broke the law by reporting to the press her legal status. That is confidential information.
And no it’s not the same thing as Joe the Plumber. Joe had a lien against him for failing to pay taxes. That is public information that’s why the press was allowed to see that information because it is public info. Obama’s aunt could sue the government for violating her rights, although she is an illegal citizen. She’ll have a good case against them too.

I might also add that the article provided by your link proves that Obama maybe a liar, he said that he didn’t know about his aunt yet she called him 2 years ago and told him she was living in Boston, that being said I suppose that Obama may not have been aware of her legal status. I doubt that she will be deported now that Obama has won the election.
I also think that Obama’s aunt and Joe the Plumber should sue the media and Joe should also sue the DNC for violation of his fourth amendment rights as well as invasion of privacy.
